Hello!
I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Liz Wagner Biro. I’m sure it’s pretty clear that I’m a multi-passionate person. I founded Small Fall Starts to create a space that honors the connection between my diverse offerings of infant developmental movement education, academic support, body literacy, and doula work.
“Small Fall” refers to the way a baby learns to move through tolerable tips off their center, expanding their kinesphere with each tumble and resolution. It’s these little failures that teach us about ourselves and our world. More fully, it describes the growing edge we all must navigate to evolve and relate with the world with a balance of self-possession and surrender. It is on this edge that I offer my services to you.
My journey has been shaped by a deep understanding of what it means to seek support. I aim to transform what I’ve learned on this path into a nurturing environment where others can thrive. These experiences led me to study and earn the titles of MSW, IDME, FAE, and CD.
I believe in tempering trust in authority with trust in ourselves, the power of self-inquiry, and the importance of unconditional positive regard.
My mission is to empower individuals—especially infants, children, and parents—to cultivate an unshakable sense of self and feel confident in their unique contributions to the world.
With over a decade of experience working with babies and children, alongside my training and experience as a social worker and doula, I blend empathy with practical knowledge to guide clients through their own development. I strive to create a supportive atmosphere where clients feel understood, seen, and gently held as they expand their comfort zones.
I envision a future shaped by generative, creative, and collaborative values, where each generation guides the next toward a more attuned, compassionate society. It would be my honor and my pleasure to share in this vision with you.
When I’m not doing this work, you can find me crafting, organizing multi-generational rock music experiences, or writing, singing, and playing guitar with Sorry Darling.
